We’re enhancing the VIP experience with refreshed benefits and updated upgrade and downgrade criteria, rolling out December 1, 2025.
I. An all-new VIP program
1. Preferred pricing: Enjoy lower pricing on domain registration and renewal.
2. Promo codes: Transfer up to 200 domains at a discount and pay no fees on up to 100 unsold auctions each month.
3. Concierge: Get access to personalized and priority support from a dedicated account manager.
4. Priority support: Your support tickets will always be first in line.
5. Reduced fees: The handling fees for your User-Pre auctions are now reduced from 10% to 8%.
II. Upgrading to VIP
Becoming a GNAME VIP is automatic. Once you’re a reseller and meet any of the requirements below, your account will upgrade on the first day of the next month.
1. Recharge criterion: Add US$10,000 of funds to your account in the current month.
2. Domain count: Your account must hold 2,000+ domains and you must have added US$5,000+ of funds to your account in the current month.
III. Keeping your VIP status
If a VIP member doesn’t meet the funding or domain requirements for three consecutive months, their account will return to standard status in the fourth month. We’ll always notify you in advance so you’re never caught off guard.
V. FAQs for GNAME VIP
1. Can standard accounts upgrade to VIP without first upgrading to a reseller?
VIP status is available only to reseller accounts. Both the Basic or Advanced reseller lifetime plan are eligible.
2. Where can I claim the 200 transfer credits and 100 unsold auctions credits after becoming a VIP?
You can claim them once a month under Account Management → My Account → VIP Customer.
3. What's the expiration on the VIP coupons?
You can claim your coupons in any day of the month, then they remain usable for the next 30 calendar days.
4. Can I replace my unused and unclaimed coupons?
Coupons can’t be replaced once they expire or go unclaimed. A fresh set will be ready for you each month.
